1. Construction Manager
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of experience in electrical construction projects
- Minimum 3 years in a Construction Manager role
- International project experience, preferably in Africa
- Experience with projects funded by WB/AFDB will be an advantage
- Project/Location: Procurement of Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of the Rehabilitation of Distribution Networks for ENDE – Angola
Job Description
- Lead end-to-end execution of electrical distribution projects.
- Manage multiple construction fronts simultaneously across various village locations.
- Ensure work execution complies with project specifications, utility standards, drawings, and approved method statements.
- Coordinate site mobilization activities including manpower, machinery, camps, logistics, and material deployment.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly progress reviews.
- Support preparation of look-ahead schedules and resource plans.
- Supervise construction supervisors, engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and local labor.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.
- Ensure strict implementation of HSE procedures and permit systems.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved Inspection & Test Plans.
- Coordinate inspections with client representatives.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspections, test reports, and as-built records.
- Monitor material handling, storage, and installation quality.
