Job Responsibilities
Steel Processing & Handling
- Oversee cutting, bending, and shaping of reinforcement steel.
- Ensure steel processing is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality standards during steel preparation activities.
Cutting & Bending Operations
- Ensure accurate cutting and bending of reinforcement bars.
- Supervise fabrication activities to minimize wastage.
- Maintain quality control throughout processing operations.
Stock Management
- Maintain steel inventory records.
- Track steel consumption and material utilization.
- Ensure proper stacking, storage, and handling of steel materials.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and vendors.
- Ensure timely supply of processed steel to project sites.
- Support smooth execution of construction activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of reinforcement steel processing.
- Experience in Bar Bending Schedule (BBS).
- Understanding of steel inventory and stock control.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work on large-scale infrastructure projects.
